Nyx Beautique was a distant dream brought alive in 2013 when redundancy from her office job pushed the owner to pursue her dream of owning a beauty business. 
Nicola trained in beauty from the year 2000, starting as a hobby. She practiced on friends and family around raising her two young children while working a 9-3pm in administration, when she realised this was a career choice that she would one day pursue on a full-time basis.
Fast forward to 2013, made redundant, national unemployment at an all-time high, children more off hand, and an offer to rent a small room at a friend's salon. Why not? Nicola signed herself up for a 'starting a business' course where she found her inspiration for the business name, and the rest is history......

Since opening a salon of her own in 2018, the business has gone from strength to strength, recently expanding into the world of aesthetics.

The salon is delightfully decorated with a warm, calm, sophisticated atmosphere.
