Nyx Beautique was a distant dream which turned into reality in 2013 when redundancy from a 9-5 office job pushed the owner to pursue her dream of owning a beauty business.

Nicola's journey began in the year 2000, embracing her hobby by training and practicing on friends and family while juggling responsibilities of raising two young children and working in Administration. It became evident that beauty was not just a side-line, it was a career choice that she would one day pursue on a full-time basis.

Fast forward to 2013, made redundant, national unemployment at an all-time high, children more off hand, and an offer to rent a small room at a friends salon. Why not? Nicola signed herself up for a 'starting a business' course where she found her inspiration for the business name, and the rest is history.....

Since Nicola established her own salon in 2018, Nyx Beautique has flourished. The salon is delightfully decorated with a warm, calm, sophisticated atmosphere. All clients benefit from free Wi-Fi, a 24/7 online booking system, full air conditioning, private bathroom facilities, parking, and ground level premisses which is immaculately presented, licenced and fully insured.

It has been of great importance to Nicola throughout her journey, to ensure clients are made to feel equal, welcome and comfortable whilst in her presence, and this can really be felt when you walk through the door. This reflects a huge following of clients that have remained loyal throughout her beauty career and continue to do so.
